Dr. Rosario visits Kitami Institute of Technology in Japan

Dr. Rosario was invited to speak with students and faculty at the Kitami Institute of Technology in Hokkaido, Japan. During this weeklong visit, scientific and cultural ideas were exchanged through lectures, lab visits, and informal conversations with researchers and students. Dr. Rosario shared his work applying engineering tools such as computational fluid dynamics and molecular modeling to questions in biomechanics, and learned about ongoing research at Kitami Tech. Beyond the lab, the visit offered a chance to experience the culture of Hokkaido and build connections that may lead to future collaborations and student exchanges between West Chester University and Kitami Institute of Technology.
